Jim Singleton Architects has received an award for architectural design excellence from the American Institute of Architects Brazos.  JSA worked closely with Dr. Phillips and his wife Susan to utilize an irregular space to produce a truly unique space like no other optical or eyecare facility in the country.  The jury who judged the competition stated "Very sophisticated, very clever project.  It's a huge surprise to think that something that elaborate and well thought out is in a small medical office building in this environment.  It wouldn't shock me in New York or Chicago or even Dallas or Houston.  But to think that you can go to Bryan to see that..is, to me, amazing."  The office design "elevate(s) the display construction to the level of art."
