Dr. M.D. Jackman received his B.S. degree from Indiana University in 1972, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 1976. He moved to Austin in February 1977 and has been practicing optometry full time since then. Having owned not only a large number of offices but also owned and practiced in some very large offices, Dr. Jackman realized in 1988 that what he truly loved was the one on one relationship that practicing in a smaller private office offered him.
